Roles & responsibilities

1. Chairman – Christopher Mair
- A permanent role
- Assumes overall control of society affairs on an ongoing basis
- Works with sitting President to define and implement changes to the society during the course of each sitting
2. President – David Cosgrave
- A rotating, voluntary position lasting 6-months at a time (ratified by all members during each meeting)
- No limit to number of times a member can be President
- Role is to work with Chairman to define and implement changes to the society during the course of each sitting
- During each meeting the President must propose all resolutions that have been duly made
- It is also the role of the President to observe all the rules, orders and customs of the Society, and to enforce them on others
3. Vice President – Mark Savage
- The oldest member of the society
- Their role is to carry out President’s orders without direction
4. Bishop – Dylan Amlot
- A rotating position decided by the sitting President and Chairman
- Sings grace and/or song of the day
5. The Recorder – Adam Morgan
- Records the minutes of the meetings
- Deliver ”the oath “ to each newly elected member
6. Boots – Karim Halwagi
- The last member to join the society
- Carries out any menial tasks required by the group during each session
7. Treasurer – Edward Aldwinckle
- Manages all financial aspects of society
